Background. I assume it will be at the pipe from engine to air intake line as picture below. Has anyone installed an oil catch can on these cars.

I have a 2014 335i and i wanted to install a oil catch can. The ones guys run on supras 2jz motors or 240sx with boosted motors. #4,782,859 in automotive (see top 100 in automotive) #10,249 in automotive replacement air intake filters #104,226 in automotive replacement emission & exhaust products.
Ive seen the instructions on how to do it, but the only problem is that i've only seen instructions for e chassis and not for f chassis.
Already armed with a drop in filter, we reckon it's well sorted for daily driving now! Bmw x5m & x6m (e70, e71, f85, f86). The ones guys run on supras 2jz motors or 240sx with boosted motors. Keep oil out of your n54 bmw air intake system!
